WIPER MOTOR INSPECTION

1. Disconnect wiring connector from wiper motor and reconnect battery to wiper motor connector as follows:
a. Connect battery positive terminal to wiper motor connector terminal 3 and battery ground to wiper motor terminal 1 and ensure motor runs at low speed.
b. Connect battery positive terminal to wiper motor connector terminal 3 and battery ground to wiper motor terminal 2 and ensure motor runs at high speed.
2. Check automatic stop operation as follows:
a. Connect battery positive terminal to wiper motor connector terminal 3 and battery ground to wiper motor terminal 1 and ensure motor runs at high speed.
b. Disconnect terminal 3 during operation.
c. Connect wiper motor terminal 1 to terminal 4 and connect battery positive terminal to wiper motor terminal 3 and battery ground to wiper motor bracket. Motor should start to operate at slow speed then stops.
