Water Pump: Service and Repair

Preparatory Steps:
^ Drain the coolant.
^ Remove the drive belt.





Remove the two capscrews and water pump from the cylinder block.





Clean the sealing surface on the cylinder block. Install the new 0-ring into the pump groove.





Install the water pump.

Torque the mounting capscrews to 24 N-m [18 ft-lbs].
