Shaft Seal - Replacement

Remove the injection pump from the engine.





Remove the shaft seal.





Inspect the seal seating area for nicks and burns.

Minor clean-up is allowed providing the area is thoroughly flushed with solvent and dried with compressed air.





Install the new seal. Drive the seal in the housing until it bottoms.
