Power Window Switch: Testing and Inspection

Power Window Master Switch Continuity:

To test the the left power window switch remove the switch from the trim panel and remove the wiring harness from the back of the switch. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity through the proper pins in the indicated switch positions. If the continuity is not correct, replace the switch.

Passenger Power Window Switch Continuity:

To test the right power window switch, remove the right switch from the trim panel and remove the wiring harness from the back of the switch. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity through the proper pins in the indicated switch positions. If the continuity is not correct, replace the switch.
