Wind Noise At Top Of A-Post

1991-1993 (AS) Caravan/Grand Caravan/Caravan CV Voyager/Grand Voyager/Town & Country


SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Some vehicles may exhibit a wind noise at the top of the A-Post. This condition may be caused by a pin hole in the sealer at the forward end of the drip rail.


DIAGNOSIS:





Visually inspect the area at the forward end of the drip rail. If there is any evidence of a hole in the sealer, perform the repair procedure.



PARTS REQUIRED:

AR Mopar Super Kleen 4318015
AR Mopar Silicone Sealer 4467708


REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This bulletin involves sealing the forward end of the drip rail.

1. Clean the area at the forward end of the drip rail with Mopar Super Kleen P/N 4318015 or equivalent.

2. Carefully wipe sealer P/N 4467708 into the pin hole at forward end of the drip rail.


NOTE:
NO PAINTING IS REQUIRED OR RECOMMENDED, P/N 4467708 IS A CLEAR SEALER.


3. Remove any excess sealer.
