Subject: Safety Recall # 315T - Turn Signal Flasher

Models: 1991 Model Year Dodge Caravan C/V (AS Body) Built From Job # 1 Through February 12, 1991


The turn signal flasher on involved vehicles will not provide a bulb outage indication as required by FMVSS # 108 if a bulb fails. This results from installation of a 2 bulb flasher in a 3 bulb system. To correct the condition the proper flasher for this application must be installed.

Important: Some of the involved vehlcles may still be in dealer stock. Be sure to complete the service on these vehicles before retail delivery.

Flashers are being mailed directly to owners of involved vehicles for them to install. If preferred, they may request free installation by their dealers.
