Main Relay (Computer/Fuel System): Description and Operation

The engine control relay supplies power to the fuel pump, fuel injectors, purge control solenoid and Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) control solenoid. The Engine Control Unit (ECU) then controls these circuits by removing or applying a ground to the circuits.
