Fuel Delivery and Air Induction: Description and Operation
The Fuel Delivery system consists of a fuel tank, fuel tank mounted electric fuel pump, fuel filter, two injectors, a throttle body assembly, a fuel pressure regulator, and associated lines, hoses and controls. Fuel is pumped from the fuel tank by the electric pump to the throttle body and injectors, then through the fuel pressure regulator. The Single Board Engine Controller (SBEC) controls the fuel flow through the injectors, and excess fuel returns to the fuel tank, through the fuel return line.
