Service Procedure


Refer to Figure 1 for transmission wiring harness identification and location in the following steps.


1. Locate the lockup solenoid and neutral switch wiring harnesses and move them away from the fuel hoses.


2. Secure the wiring to the hole in the boss on the left side of the extension housing using tie strap PN 6016155. The boss is located just to the rear of the extension-to-transmission case attachment (Figure 1).


3. After tightening the strap, check to ensure that all wiring connectors are fully engaged and that all wiring is secured and away from the fuel hoses.
