DRUM BRAKES GENERAL INFORMATION
The drum brake units used for all applications dual shoe, internal expanding units with an automatic self adjusting mechanism.
- Nine inch brakes are used on standard models.
- Ten inch brakes are used on models with heavy duty option packages.

Cast wheel cylinders are used with the nine and ten inch brake assemblies.
- The cylinders are serviceable components and can be overhauled.
- The cylinder bores can be lightly polished with crocus cloth but must not be honed.
