Console: Service and Repair

Engine Cover Console:

ENGINE COVER AND CONSOLE CONSOLE
The console is attached to the engine cover with screws that are accessible via the ash receiver tray.

REMOVAL
1. Open the ash receiver tray and remove the con: sole attaching screws from the engine cover retaining bracket.
2. Remove the console from the engine cover.

INSTALLATION
1. Position the console on the engine cover and retaining bracket with the screw holes aligned.
2. Install the attaching screws in the console and retaining bracket. Tighten the screws with 3 Nm (24 in. lbs.) torque.
