A. Inspect Fuel Tank Flange

A. Inspect Fuel Tank Flange:

1. Raise vehicle on hoist.





2. Inspect rear fuel tank flange to determine if the support strap and fuel hose bends on the flange are at the minimum required angle of 75 degrees. (Figure 1).

3. If proper bend angles exist, no further action is necessary.

4. If the bend angles are not at the minimum 75 degrees, lower the vehicle and proceed to Step B.

NOTE:
If the fuel tank flange requires bending at either support strap location, new support straps (PN 4279691) must be installed.
