SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

If a child seat cushion (K) resists being completely lowered or the shoulder harness adjustment loop (I) is difficult to release, the following procedure can be used to correct these conditions (Fig. 1).

1. Lift the child seat cushion so it is almost in the stowed position (Figure 2).

2. Pull up on the black shoulder harness adjustment loop firmly. At the same time, create slack by pulling both shoulder harness straps through the slots in the seat back as shown in Figure 3.


3. Restore the child seat cushion to the down position for use and refer to the Owner's Manual Supplement (81-016-2050) for seat operating instructions.
