SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Some of the subject vehicles that are built with a luggage rack may exhibit a rattle when being driven in a cross wind at highway speeds. The rattle may be the result of the luggage rack cross rails fluttering in the wind. This condition can be eliminated by installing urethane spacers on the bottom of each cross rail stanchion.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This repair involves installing a urethane spacer on the bottom of each cross rail stanchion.
1. Remove the cross rails from the luggage rack.
2. Install a urethane spacer on the bottom of each stanchion as shown .
3. Install the cross rails on the luggage rack.
POLICY: Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
