Spark advance - excessive retard Check Spark Controls.

Incorrect initial timing Check base timing.

Incorrect spark advance Check spark controls.

Lean Air-Fuel mixture Check fuel pressure.
Check O2 sensor.
Perform injector balance test (MPI).

Restricted exhaust Check Catalytic Converter system.

Poor or contaminated fuel Recommend higher grade fuel
