Idle Speed

IDLE SPEED
Idle speed is electronically controlled by the Idle Air Control (IAC) motor and is not adjustable. If idle speed is outside of specified rpm, or is rough, or unstable, inspect and clean throttle body if deposits are visible.
After cleaning throttle body perform minimum air flow test.

IDLE SPEED SPECIFICATIONS- DURING MINIMUM AIRFLOW TEST
Less than 1,000 miles on vehicle 625-950 rpm
Over 1,000 miles on vehicle 750-950 rpm
