Cooling System - Draining and Filling
COOLANT - DRAININGWARNING: Wait until the temperature Is below 50°C [120°F] before removing the coolant system pressure cap. Failure to do so can cause personal injury from heated coolant spray.
Drain the coolant system by opening the drain valve on the radiator. A drain with a capacity of 20 liters [5 U.S. gallons] will be adequate to hold the coolant.
Refill the cooling system with a mixture of 50% water and 50% ethylene-glycol type antifreeze. Refer to the specifications for further details.
