Ignition Hall Effect Sensor: Service and Repair

NOTE:
Distributor removal is not necessary to the pick-up assembly.

REMOVAL

1. Remove distributor cap from distributor (two screws).

2. Disconnect pick-up harness from main engine wiring harness.

3. Remove distributor rotor from distributor shaft.

Distributor (Hall Effect) Pick-up:

4. Lift the pick-up assembly from the distributor housing.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the pick-up to the distributor. Align the pick-up into the notch on the distributor.

2. Connect wiring harness.

3. Install rotor.

4. Install distributor cap.
