Instrument Cluster / Carrier: Service and Repair

Fig. 6 Instrument cluster bezel:

1. If equipped, disarm airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES.
2. Remove warning indicator grille.
3. Remove three mounting screws from warning indicator module assembly, then disconnect wiring connector.
4. Remove lower steering column cover, set parking brake and shift gear selector lever into "Low" position.
5. Remove cluster bezel, then disconnect wiring.

6. Remove four cluster attaching screws, then the two PRNDL attaching screws to cluster.
7. Remove cluster.
8. Reverse procedure to install. Rearm airbag system.
