Powertrain Management: Description and Operation
PURPOSE
The electronic Powertrain Management system constantly monitors and adjusts the operation of the FUEL DELIVERY, IGNITION TIMING, EMISSION CONTROL, and TRANSMISSION CONTROL SYSTEMS, to achieve the best compromise between engine performance, fuel consumption, and emissions reduction.
