REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves installing a ground strap between the A/C filter/drier and inner fender panel.
1. Raise the hood and remove the jack assembly from the right inner fender panel.
2. Attach one end of the ground strap (P/N 4469334) by pushing it on to the A/C filter/drier mounting bracket.
3. Attach the other end of the ground strap to the inner fender panel by pushing it over the edge of the sheet metal at the slot slightly rearward of the A/C filter/drier.
4. Close the hood and verify the repair was effective by listening to the radio tuned to an AM station at or near 1000 Khz. with the engine running. If interference can still be heard, ensure the ends of the ground strap are making good contact with the metal of the A/C filter/drier mounting bracket and the metal of the inner fender panel.
