Models:
^ 1993 Model Year Dodge Ram Van and Wagon (AB) Models Equipped With a 5.9L Light Duty Engine Built Through September 30, 1992 (MDH 093021)

Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) labels installed on the listed vehicles identify an incorrect spark plug for this application. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and State of California regulations require that the manufacturer list the spark plug on the VECI label. To correct the condition, new VECI labels must be installed.
Six different VECI labels are involved depending on the vehicle model, emission system and GVW rating. For administrative purposes, six separate recall numbers have been assigned.
Replacement labels are being mailed directly to owners. The owners are requested to install the labels themselves or, if preferred, to arrange for dealer installation of the owner-supplied labels without charge.
Details of this service action are explained in the following sections.
