Extension Housing

Fig. 10 Exploded view of extension housing assembly:

1. Disassemble extension housing as shown noting the following:
a. Remove roll pin from neutral return finger and the lockpin from change shifter.
b. Remove control shaft toward front of housing.
c. Remove oil seal.
2. Install control shaft from front of housing, engaging neutral return finger and change shifter.
3. Install roll pin in neutral return finger and the lockpin in change shifter.
4. Ensure control shaft operates smoothly.
5. Apply suitable oil to lip of new oil seal, then install seal with lip facing toward front of housing.
