Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Throttle Body View With Idle Air Control (IAC) Motor:

Throttle Position Sensor Removal:

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Remove air cleaner.
3. Disconnect electrical connector.
4. Remove mounting screws (2), and lift sensor off throttle shaft.

INSTALLATION
1. Install sensor and tighten screws to 2 Nm (20 in-lbs).
2. Connect electrical connector.
3. Install air cleaner.
4. Connect negative battery cable.
