ABS System ID

There are 2 different ABS systems available on this model. The Rear-Wheel Anti-Lock Brake System (RABS) is the standard system, and the Kelsey-Hayes EBC-5H Four Wheel Anti-lock System (4WABS) is optional.

The easiest way to identify which system you have is to examine the brake booster and master cylinder:

- The 4 Wheel ABS system has a Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) located near the master cylinder. The brake hoses connect the master cylinder to the HCU.

- The Rear Wheel ABS system does not use this unit.
