SUBJECT:
Front Coil Spring Squeak

MODELS:

1993 - 1994 (AN) Dakota (4 X 2 Only)

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Squeaking or grinding noise from the front suspension while driving over bumps or undulating roads.

DIAGNOSIS:

Road test the vehicle over rough road surfaces. If the noise is present, perform the repair procedure.

PARTS REQUIRED:

2 52038732 Isolator

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This bulletin involves installing improved front coil spring isolators.

Using the procedures outlined in the appropriate Service Manual, remove the front coil springs. Remove the original spring isolator located in the top upper control arm spring pocket and install the isolators, P/N 52038732.
