Input Shaft & Output Shaft

Fig. 6 Location of input shaft clutch gear flats:

1. Rotate input shaft until flats on shaft clutch teeth are facing downward toward countershaft.

2. Move input shaft forward until it clears output shaft, remove output shaft and gears as an assembly, then input shaft from case.
3. If bearing on input shaft is damaged, press bearing from shaft using a suitable press.
