Clutch release cable cannot be adjusted on these models. When cable is properly routed, spring between pedal and positioner adjuster will hold cable in proper position. An adjuster pivot is used to hold release cable in place to ensure complete clutch release when pedal is depressed.

A broken clutch cable, slow clutch action or high clutch pedal effort may result from improperly routed clutch cable. Transaxle cable mounting shelf contains two holes. One hole is for clutch cable retention and other is for manufacturing purposes. If cable is not routed as shown, reroute as necessary, replacing cable if damaged.
