Shorted Right Channel

Name of Code: Shorted (R) Channel

When Monitored: With the radio on.

Set condition: The radio monitors the audio output of each channel for the amount of current required to operate it. If the current flow exceeds a predetermined level, this trouble code will be set. The radio will shut down the affected channel until the cause is repaired.

Possible Causes:
- Speaker (+) circuit shorted to ground
- Speaker (-) circuit shorted to ground
- Radio failure
