Antenna Error

Name of Code: Antenna Error

When Monitored: Whenever radio is attempting to "seek" a radio station signal.

Set condition: When the "Seek" feature is requested, the radio's tuner will attempt to locate a signal across the entire bandwidth. If no signal is located after one continuous loop, the trouble code will set.

Possible Causes:
- Open antenna coax circuit
- Antenna disconnected from radio
- Poor antenna ground at fender
- Corrosion on antenna connector at radio or pigtail
- Trying to seek in an area with no signal or a weak signal (in tunnels, remote areas, AM in a steel building
- Radio failure
