Mirrors: Description and Operation

NOTE: The following information is intended to be used in conjunction with the electrical diagrams.

CIRCUIT OPERATION
The day/night mirror receives power from circuit F20 when the ignition switch is in the RUN position. Circuit Z1 provides ground for the day/night mirror. The grounding point for circuit Z1 is the windshield header.

When the back-up lamps switch closes, circuit L1 provides a signal to the day/night mirror. The day night mirror turns OFF when the vehicle is in reverse.
