Instrument Cluster / Carrier: Service and Repair
Steering Column Cover:
1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove steering column cover.

2. Remove two screws at bottom edge of instrument cluster bezel on either side of steering wheel and eight screws from bezel face.
3. On models with automatic transmission, move shift lever to lowest position.
4. On all models, pull cluster bezel to rear and left of steering wheel, then remove.
5. On models with automatic transmission, remove U-Retaining clip and disconnect gear selector indicator cable from steering column.
6. On all models, remove screws attaching cluster to instrument panel, then pull cluster to rear and unplug wiring connectors.
7. Move cluster past steering wheel and remove.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
