Four Wheel ABS Main Components.:

The four wheel Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), is optional equipment for 1993-96 Dakota models. This system prevents wheel lock-up by monitoring wheel speed and altering pressure to each wheel. The main components of the system are a rear brake anti-lock valve, rear wheel speed sensor and exciter ring, front wheel speed sensors and tone rings, front brake anti-lock valve assembly, ABS control module and a combination valve.
