Radio System

NOTE: Vehicle is equipped with an Ignition Off Draw (IOD) fuse in the power distribution center located in the engine compartment. After the IOD fuse or battery has been disconnected, the radio station sets and clock will require resetting.

There are three radios available for the minivan:
- The base radio is an AM/FM stereo radio with four speaker locations.
- There is an AM/FM cassette radio with four speaker locations that has CCD communication capabilities.
- The Infinity Gold radio is an AM/FM compact disc stereo tuner/player. It has eight speaker locations.

The radio is available for the first time with an optional cassette deck built in. This allows the flexibility of choosing to play either a cassette tape or a compact disc all from the same unit. The radio has the capability of communicating on the CCD bus and allowing diagnostics with the DRB.

The Infinity Gold system uses bi-amplified speakers at the front doors and rear quarter panel locations. This means that there is an amplifier located at each of the four primary speaker locations.

Both the AM/FM cassette radio and the Infinity Gold system can communicate on the CCD bus and display diagnostic trouble codes that can be read with a scan tool.

NOTE: For 1997, all CCD radios have been disconnected from the CCD bus.
