Circuit Operation

CIRCUIT OPERATION
The horn system uses a switch and a horn relay. The horn switch is in the steering wheel along with the speed control switch, if equipped.

Circuit F62 from fuse 4 in the Fuse Block supplies power to the coil and contact sides of the horn relay.

When the case grounded horn switch is depressed, circuit X3 provides ground for the coil side of the relay and the contacts close. When the contacts close circuit X2 supplies voltage to the case grounded horns.
