Keyless Entry Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.

Instrument Cluster Bezel Remove/Install:

2. Remove the six screws that secure the instrument cluster bezel to the instrument panel.
3. Pull the bezel off of the upper retaining clips.

Radio Remove/Install:

4. Remove the two radio mounting screws.
5. Remove the screw that secures the radio ground strap to the instrument panel above the radio.
6. Pull the radio out from the instrument panel far enough to unplug the wire harness connectors and the antenna coaxial cable connector. If equipped with the Infinity speaker option, also unplug the wire harness connector from the ground terminal on the back of the radio chassis.
7. Remove the radio from the instrument panel.

Power Lock, Remote Keyless Entry Module Remove/Install:

8. Reach through the radio opening of the instrument panel and remove the two screws that secure the power lock and RKE module to the dash panel.
9. Unplug the two wire harness connectors and remove the module.
10. Reverse the removal procedures to install.
