Torque Reduction Signal: Description and Operation

OPERATION
The torque reduction data link line is connected between the Transmission Control Module (TCM) and the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). It is used as a communication link for the TCM to instruct the PCM to back down the engine torque output before the vehicle shifts.
