Repairing Cluster Message Mismatch

Name of Code: Cluster Message Mismatch

NOTE: The code becomes active and stored as soon as the malfunction is detected.

When monitored: Continuously when the ignition is on.

Set condition: After the cluster bulb check the ACM compares the ACM and MIC lamp messages. If the ACM warning lamp request (On or Off) and the MIC warning lamp state (On or Off) messages do not match after 2 continuous seconds the code will set.

Possible causes:
> Faulty instrument cluster
> Faulty airbag control module
> Any CCD bus failure (may be viewed in stored codes once the bus is repaired)
