Repairing No Cluster Message
Name of code: No Cluster CCD Bus MessageNOTE: This code becomes active and stored as soon as the malfunction is detected.
When monitored: Continuously when the ignition is on. Set condition: If the ACM fails to see the status message for 5 continuous seconds the code will be set.
Theory of Operation: The cluster transmits an airbag warning lamp message on the CCD bus one time every second. The ACM monitors the CCD bus for the airbag warning lamp message. If the ACM fails to see the status message for 5 continuous seconds the code will be set.
Possible causes:
> Intermittent bus failure
> Faulty instrument cluster circuit board
> Faulty airbag control module
