General Information

The power steering system uses a recirculating-ball type gear. The gear is mounted to the frame rail. The hydraulic pressure for the power steering gear is provided by a P-Series pump. The pump is mounted to the engine and driven by a belt. An oil cooler is used on vehicles with the trailer tow option.
