Repairing No CCD Communication

NOTE: This code will appear as a stored code only.

When Monitored: Continuously when the ignition is on.

Set Conditions: If the ACM cannot detect the ACM to MIC warning lamp (on & off) message on the CCD bus for 5 consecutive seconds.

Theory of Operation: The ACM sends a warning lamp (on & off) message to the MIC once every second. If the ACM determines it cannot communicate its warning lamp (on & off) message on the COD bus for 5 consecutive seconds, the code will set.

Possible Causes:
> Any COD bus failure (may be viewed in stored codes once bus is repaired)
> Faulty airbag control module
> Low battery voltage
