Distribution Duct Door Replacement

The distribution duct contains both the floor-defrost door and the floor-panel door. These mode doors can only be accessed for service with the distribution duct removed from the vehicle.

REMOVAL

Floor-Defrost Door
1. Remove the distribution duct from the vehicle.
2. Remove the floor-defrost door actuator from the upper half of the distribution duct.
3. Disassemble the distribution duct.

Floor-Defrost Door Remove/Install:




4. Lift the floor-defrost door out of the lower half of the distribution duct.
5. Reverse the removal procedures to install.

Floor-Panel Door
1. Remove the distribution duct from the vehicle.
2. Remove the floor-panel door actuator from the upper half of the distribution duct.
3. Disassemble the distribution duct.

Floor-Panel Door Lever:




4. Using a trim stick or another suitable wide flat-bladed tool, gently pry the lever off of the floorpanel door pivot shaft from the outside of the upper half of the distribution duct.

Floor-Panel Door Remove/Install:




5. Remove the floor-panel door from the upper half of the distribution duct.
6. Reverse the removal procedures to install.
