Airbag Message Not Received

SYMPTOM
AIRBAG MESSAGE NOT RECEIVED

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
If this message is not received by the BCM for more than 18 seconds, this code will be set. This trouble code is stored in memory for 20 key cycles after the problem is repaired if it is not erased after repair.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Airbag system problem
- ACM ground circuit open
- CCD bus (+) circuit open
- CCD bus (-) circuit open
- Fuse # 2 open
- Ignition switch output circuit open
- Fused ignition switch circuit shorted to ground
- Fused ignition switch output circuit open
- Fused ignition switch circuit shorted to ground at ACM
