Right Front Door Key Cylinder Disarm Switch Failure

SYMPTOM
RIGHT FRONT DOOR KEY CYLINDER DISARM SWITCH FAILURE

WHEN MONITORED
Each switch inside the door has a unique resistance value which when activated sends a voltage level to the BCM. The BCM will interpret the different levels and perform the desired function.

SET CONDITION
The BCM senses a voltage of 2.0 volts (± 250 mV) on the RF door switch MUX circuit for longer than 8 seconds.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Passenger door key switch stuck in unlock position
- Passenger door key switch sticking
- Passenger door key cylinder switch defective
