Service Procedure

Apply the DRL labels as follows:

1. Remove any loose dirt from the headlamp/turn signal lens area of both headlamp modu1es.





2. Clean the lens area where the labels are to be installed with a clean dry soft cloth and isopropyl alcohol (Figure 1).

3. With the lens temperature between 60°F and 120°F, remove the DRL labels from the paper backing and apply one label to each headlamp lens near the amber turn signal area (Figure 1). Remove any air bubbles by applying finger pressure to the labels.

IMPORTANT:
Do NOT touch the adhesive side of the label with your fingers.

NOTE:
To ensure proper headlamp assembly lens temperature, the headlamps may be turned ON until the lens feels warm to the touch.
