P-1763 GOVERNOR PRESSURE SENSOR VOLTS TOO HIGH
WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the key on and engine running.
SET CONDITION
The voltage from the Governor Pressure Sensor is above 4.89 volts for 8.5 seconds.

- No possible causes remaining
- 5-volt supply circuit open
- Governor pressure sensor ground circuit open
- Governor pressure sensor ground circuit open
- Governor pressure sensor harness inter def
- Governor pressure/temperature sensor def
- Governor press sensor signal ckt shrt to voltage
- Governor pressure sensor signal circuit open
- Governor pressure sensor signal circuit open
- Governor pressure sensor signal ckt short to voltage
- Trans harness/solenoid def (sig ckt > 5.0 ohms)
- Transmission harn/sol assy defective (gnd res)
- Governor pressure/temperature sensor def
- PCM defective (gov pressure sensor volts too high)
- Powertrain control module defective
- Trans harness/solenoid def (gnd ckt > 5.0 ohms)
- Trans harness/solenoid def (sig ckt > 1.0 volt)
- Transmission harn/sol assy defective (sig res)
- Transmission harness/solenoid assy defective (voltage above 1 volt)
- PCM defective (GOV pressure sensor volts too high)
- Governor press sensor signal ckt shrt to voltage
- Governor pressure sensor ground circuit open
