Steering: Description and Operation

Two wheel drive vehicles use rack and pinion steering gear. Vehicles equipped with a four-cylinder engine use a TC Series power steering pump. All other engine applications use a P Series pump. Power steering systems consist of:
- Rack and pinion steering gear
- Belt driven hydraulic steering pump
- Pump pressure and return hoses
