P0743 Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid/Trans Relay Circuits

SYMPTOM
P-0743 TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH SOLENOID/TRANS RELAY CIRCUITS

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the key on.

SET CONDITION
This code is set if the voltage detected on the TCC Solenoid Control Circuit at the PCM is different than the expected voltage.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- No possible causes remaining
- Fused B(+) feed to the transmission ctrl ckt open
- Transmission control relay defective
- TCC solenoid control circuit open
- TCC solenoid control circuit shorted to ground
- TCC wiring harness intermittent defect
- TCC wiring harness observable def
- Transmission control relay output circuit open
- Transmission ctrl relay output ckt shorted to gnd
- PCM defective
- PCM defective (above 10 volts)
- PCM defective (control short)
- PCM defective (solenoid harness defective)
- Solenoid & harness assembly defective not shorted to other circuits
- Solenoid and harness assembly defective solenoid resistance in spec
