2ND Row Seat Back Latch / Lock

2ND ROW SEAT BACK LATCH/LOCK

REMOVAL

1. Remove seat back.

2. Disengage J-straps on seat cushion frame (Fig. 13).
3. Remove bolts attaching outboard tumble latch to seat cushion frame.
4. Remove bolts attaching inboard tumble latch to seat cushion frame.

5. Remove bolts attaching floor latch to seat cushion frame (Fig. 14).
6. Disengage latch cable from inboard tumble latch.
7. Separate latches from seat cushion frame.

INSTALLATION

1. Position latches on seat cushion frame.
2. Route latch cables through seat frame and engage latch cable to inboard tumble latch.
3. Install bolts attaching floor latch to seat cushion frame (Fig. 14) and tighten to 27 N.m (19 ft. lbs.).
4. Install bolts attaching inboard tumble latch to seat cushion frame and tighten bolt located in round hole first then bolt located in the slotted hole to 27 N.m (19 ft. lbs.).
5. Install bolts attaching outboard tumble latch to seat cushion frame and tighten bolt located in round hole first then bolt located in the slotted hole to 27 N.m (19 ft. lbs.).
6. Engage J-straps on seat cushion frame (Fig. 13).
7. Install seat back.
