Transmission Control Systems: Tools and Equipment

This information identifies the various tools that are available to the technician to carry out a thorough diagnosis of a problem in the transaxle. The word "tools" in this sense refers to the resources available to identify the source of a concern. This includes the road test, hydraulic pressure testing and air pressure testing.

The TCM and other components have the ability to interface over the CCD Bus. The DRBIII (R)

Scan Tool connects to a Data Link Connector located in the passenger compartment. This allows communication with the TCM on the CCD Bus.
